Manuscript Preparation Services:
The purpose of Letras Language Services is to prepare manuscripts that help bring the world of publishing to quality authors, regardless of past publication. We are in search of new talent with the ultimate aim of increasing multicultural understanding. We work with our own publishing imprint, or work with you to get your book ready for your personal publishing imprint, or with any of the major publishing houses on the market.
We edit and/or translate non-fiction, short stories, children’s books, fiction, novels, and other literary works.
We will also design the interior layout of the book, as well as produce a quality book cover, if requested (additional charges apply for book design).
Document Translation:
In addition to providing book translation services, we provide basic document translation and DTP bundled for one project quote. In addition to literary translations, we translate technical documents, brochures, college transcripts, official documents.
Our translators are professionals, members of American Literary Translators Association, the American Translators Association and holders of professional translation and language certifications. We specialize in Spanish language translations to prepare books for distribution in Spain and Latin America and for consumption by the U.S. Hispanic market.
Imprints:
Letras works with GyldanEdge Publishing, the imprint used for all English titles. Our imprint, Cantos Dorados, is dedicated to bringing out of print or hard to find Spanish titles. Cantos Dorados also publishes parallel-text bilingual books.
Distribution:
GyldanEdge books are available through Amazon, Barnes and Noble and other major online retailers. We have distribution agreements in the United States, Canada and the United Kingdom. Through our distribution partner in Argentina, we offer full distribution in all of Latin America. All books are available for purchase worldwide.
Promotion:
GyldanEdge provides information about promotional opportunities for authors year-round through national and international book exhibits. GyldanEdge does not actively promote an individual author’s book, but we do provide information and resources to writers.
Pre-Publication Services:
We provide editing; proofreading; book cover design; interior layout and typesetting; and, translation services. Professional rates apply. Contact us at no charge to discuss your editorial and publishing needs.
